Time to consider a Propane Tank Monitor

3-minute read

Let us take one of the responsibilities that comes with homeownership off your plate. Propane tank monitors keep track of how much propane is left in your tank to reduce your risk of running out of propane when you need it most.

Save Time

Our easy to install tank monitors use wireless and cellular technology to track how much propane is in your tank. When it drops to below a certain level, the monitor sends us an alert to schedule a propane delivery. And as a tank monitoring customer, your next delivery gets prioritized in our schedule. Since all this happens behind the scenes, you’ll actually get some time back: you won’t need to regularly check your propane levels nor will you need to call us to schedule your next delivery.

Stay Safe

A working tank monitor does more than just track your propane use. It can also alert us to sudden changes in pressure or fuel level. In fact, a propane run out can be quite dangerous and under certain circumstances, can result in fires sparking. A run out can cause the pilot light on any appliance to go out, resulting in a fire. With a working propane tank monitor installed, you will have peace of mind knowing that we’ll be notified before a run out occurs.

Avoid Unexpected Costs

You might not realize, but running out of propane could cost you… If your home is heated with propane, running out during winter means your home doesn’t have heat. Not only will you be cold, but you risk frozen and burst pipes which could lead to thousands in damage.

After you’ve run out of propane, one of our Technical Experts need to come by to run a pressure test to check for leaks that might have formed in the empty tank. Only after your tank has passed inspection will we be able to set up your emergency propane delivery. That same expert will also need to relight the pilots on your propane appliances before they can be used.

Automatic Delivery

A propane tank monitor makes automatic delivery seamless! Whether you’re heating your home or just use propane for your amenities, like the pool or appliances, the monitor is perfect for tracking changes in use. All this data goes into our system to calculate when you’ll receive your next delivery.
