Customer Care Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer a high volume of inbound customer inquiries regarding price plans, billing, payments, credit questions, scheduling energy deliveries and service calls

  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to enhance their customer experience

  • Work half-day Saturdays on a rotating basis (seasonal)

  • Ability to cross-sell services to existing customers

  • Coordinate monthly customer budget billing

  • Assist with company mailings

  • Coordinate / own other miscellaneous admin projects

  • Track information for weekly/monthly/yearly reports

  • Document all customer information in our company software

  • Enter leads in Lead Management system

  • Work with other departments to resolve any customer issues

  • Achieve company’s customer retention goals

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Enjoy working with customers

  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations

  • Be an active listener and ask probing questions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Must be able to adapt to frequent changes or delays

  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and organized

  • Must have intermediate skill levels in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Must become proficient in Microsoft windows based software (Great Plains v8.0)
